Hearts of Montage, the associate-led volunteer community outreach program at Montage Laguna Beach, today introduced the Hearts of Montage Giving Card to benefit five area non-profit organizations. The charities, selected by Hearts of Montage, will distribute the cards to their donors. Each time a cardholder presents the card at Montage Laguna Beach, the organization will receive 10% of all valid resort purchases made by cardholders through December 20.
“We are very proud that through Hearts of Montage, our associates have created another way to benefit organizations that are enriching the lives of those in our local communities,” said James Bermingham, Vice President, Montage Hotels & Resorts, and Managing Director, Montage Laguna Beach.
Giving Cards are being distributed to supporters of Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, Harvesters, The Ocean Institute, SchoolPower and Susi Q Senior Center. Upon receipt, cardholders must register the cards online so that their resort purchases – at resort restaurants, Spa Montage, The Shops at Montage or overnight accommodations and in-room dining – will be credited to the appropriate non-profit organization.
"We at the Harvesters feel very honored to be one of the five charities that have been selected to participate in the Montage Giving Card. It's a wonderful way to entertain and feel good with Montage supporting The Second Harvest Food Bank," said Suzan Paek, Chairman, Harvesters.
