Concept:	Inspired by the enduring creative spirit of the artists who settled in Laguna Beach nearly a century ago, Studio restaurant at Montage Laguna Beach views food as a serious art form.
Location:	Gracing a 50-foot oceanfront bluff, Studio features sweeping 280-degree panoramas of the Pacific Ocean. Expansive, open-air windows allow guests to feel the refreshing ocean breezes and hear the waves break below.
Culinary Highlights:	Studio's ever-changing dinner menu features daily-caught seafood; farm-raised meats and game; and always fresh, artisanal ingredients.
Wines:	The restaurant features a massive 2,000 wine bottle display, designed by Paul Wyatt of Napa, CA. Approximately 1,800 different selections are available, with an emphasis on benchmark and up-and-coming wineries. An extensive wine-by-the-glass program includes Studio�s "Gallery Class," which offers highly coveted wines rarely poured by the glass in 3- and 6-ounce servings. Dessert wines are offered in 1.5- and 3-ounce servings. A selection of half-bottles is also available.
Décor:	The light and airy interior features plush, comfortable furnishings and fine Early California art by both historical and living artists. The color palette for all fabrics and finishes integrates sea and sand tones: a warm beige hue provides a muted background for the more vibrant sea green accents.
Restaurant Design:	Keeping in step with the craftsman-style architecture of Montage Laguna Beach, Studio features a 20-foot-high raised ceiling with rustic stained wood beams, evoking a warm, residential ambiance. Two custom-built Paul Wyatt wine vaults flank the restaurant�s striking entryway, which also features a turn-of-the-century-style bar � stained in rich wood tones. A communal table in the bar area invites guests to sample fine wines and tapas-style dishes. The main dining areas are divided, creating more intimate seating areas and allowing for a sophisticated, yet casual dining experience. A private dining room, graced with a stone fireplace, is available for parties up to 12 people.
Kitchen Design:	Designed by Steve Marshall of San Francisco to look and feel like a French country kitchen, Studio�s kitchen features granite-top surfaces, tiled floors and walls, and craftsman-style wood cabinetry. State-of-the-art equipment of the highest quality includes one of a few Molteni ranges in the U.S. and Pavailler ovens (both from France).
Seating:	The restaurant seats up to 80 inside with an additional 40 outside; and the private dining room seats up to 12 and 24.
